Founding Partner
In 1999 Erry Bundjamin established Bundjamin & Partner, which has become the premier Indonesian law firm in the area of international trade law, customs, anti- monopoly, and commercial litigation practices.
He has represented exporters from Russia, Ukraine, Japan, South Korea and India, and Thailand and Australia in various Indonesian anti-dumping investigations as well as various overseas proceedings in EC and Malaysia, India, Brazil, Pakistan, Turkey and the USA. Mr. Bundjamin has also provided legal advice to a number of exporters from various countries with respect to non-tariff barrier issues inIndonesia such as the Agreement on Technical Barriers to Trade, the Agreement on Pre-shipment Inspection and the Agreement on Import licensing. Mr. Bundjamin has also represented local and international companies before the KPPU in competition law matters and M&A mandatory notification. He has been actively representing numerous national and multinational companies in commercialdisputes in district courts to Supreme Court.
Erry Bundjamin has been practicing international trade law since 1996. He was trained in Brussels by Vermulst, Verhaeghe & Graafsma, Bronckers, a Brussels-based law firm, in 1997.
Mr. Bundjamin was selected by Who’s Who Legal as Thought Leader of Trade Law in the Asian and Pacific Region in 2016, 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, and 2021 (as TOP 3 each year)
Language Skills: English, Dutch (working knowledge) and Indonesian (native).
Professional Activities: Member of the Indonesian Advocate Association (PERADI); Member of The Strategic Alliance on WTO and Trade Remedies Law and Practice (SAWTR)
Mr. Bundjamin is the Supervising Partner in charge of International Trade Law, Customs Law,Anti-monopoly Law and Investment Law.
